Ram Navmi is a spring Hindu festival that celebrates the birthday of Lord Rama. Ayodhya is the birth place of Lord Ram. Ram Navmi is in the month of Chaitra in the Hindu calendar. The ninth and last day of Chaitra Navratri marks the birth of Lord ram, who as per Hind belief was the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu.

The Shree Pretoria Hindu Seva Samaj celebrates Ram Navmi in the Mandir. Bhajan groups render bhajans in the name of Lord Ram. About 200 people attend this festival.
